Default 2009 C30 2.0D valve timing

Hi! I'm new to the group!

I replaced the timing belt on my 2009 C30 2.0D. I locked the flywheel and the cam pulley using the special tools req. When I fit the new belt I noticed a bit of slack in the front of the belt (roller side) and couldn't seem to get the slack out. So I fit the belt anyway and tensioned the tensioner and turned the engine round twice before rechecking the timing. There was a slight deviation in the cam timing with hole in the cam pulley just starting to cover the hole in the head where the timing pin goes.

Is there any floating adjustment on the cam pulley at all? I couldn't see if there was but I never took the pulley bolt out to see if its on a key or not. I presumed with the timing hole in the pulley itself that it's not a floating pulley with no fine adjustments. (like a vernier pulley)

Any way I built it up & the car seems fine. Any advice?

Cheers, Pete.
