Just a thought after doing some research - what Conti Cross Contact tyres do you have fitted,as some are winter tyres. If you have 2 winters and 2 summers on your car this is dangerous.

Which are yours as per this link?

Regards

Edit:- Carlh -are your conti cross contact winters by any chance?
Ooh, I never realised there were so many Conti tyres with the same name and different applications. How confusing! Mine are Cross Contact UHP - summer tyres

Neither did I.

Thought Conti Cross Contact was just one tyre!!!

Think the UHP are high performance summer tyres....just like the Zeros so (whilst not as bad...!!) similar.....

A Mountain Goat, not being able to climb the mountains whatever the conditions isn't really a mountain goat.....

Hi,

Mine are Cross Contact UHP as well - so I now know I have summer tyres, and will continue to take it easy.
