We have a MY16 and the VOC app. Previously there was an option on the App with remote start. Never worked as in Germany its forbidden.

Now, the latest update of the app has removed the remote start option.

My 2015 V60 Polestar has it. I tried using it for the first time on Tuesday when the screens were well frozen over. ( after being away for a week in Lanzarote).

Result; " your car hasn't been used for a few days so Volvo app has gone ofline It'll take up to an hour to reconnect, do you want to continue? "

Well, the answer was no, I went outside and started the engine myself and scraped the windows manually.

Another useless bit of electronic "bling".
