FWD V70, 2013 D4 Geartronic. First time I've ever had 'non-summer' tyres, so can't really judge. However so far, they are better than the Contisports that were OEM. Would be nice to have couple of days of snow, to really see: the Contis and also the Pirelli P6000s that were OEM on my P2 V70 FWD were hopeless in snow.

It had them on my V60 D5 for about 8 k and they are great so far, seem to have much more grip than the conti's I had before. I would strongly recommend them.

I'm not sure how I missed these when they were released. These are what I've been waiting for, for years. And not available in a size that will fit either of my cars, naturally :/

You know there are two versions? The one under cars has less sizes than the one under SUV. The SUV fits the XC60 and I don't think the V60 uses different size rims. You could always get another set of rims if they don't fit yours.

Sorry ,belay that advice I just realised you are posting about the Michelin and not the new Nokian all season tyre.

Have you checked Mytyres and Oponeo for any premium all-season tyre. There must be something decent that fits the V60 Polestar. How do the Scandinavians cope otherwise ?

They use winter tyres from October to May, it's the law in most northern countries

they need them too, something for very cold weather, they get it, we dont.
Many will have studded tyres depending on local conditions
Skis are popular

Precisely my point, perhaps not made clear. There are winter tyres manufactured for the 19" optional Polestar wheels (Michelin and Nokian for starters). Not sure about 20" wheels and/or all-season tyres.

You can of course get winters for the OEM wheels, but the appeal in the cross climates is that you can leave them on all year round with minimal compromise - I've yet to find any all season tyres capable of accommodating the Polestar or my other car though, and most all-seasons apart from the cross climates seems to be fairly heavily compromised in one way or another.

Nokian do Weatherproof (all season) which has the same EU test results as the Michelin. They are in a much bigger range of sizes. There are two varieties Weatherproof and Weatherproof SUV. You should find a size to fit. On test they actually scored higher grip than a dedicated winter tyre on snow.
