Ordered just as you said.

Paid bit more (£27each), but I won't complain- that's still half the price of Sachs and possibly one hundredth of Volvo

Thank you for hint.

Now.. to start the checklist..

Jobbies:

Replace headlight.
Oil and filter change
Top strut mounts- replace.
Check condition of brake lines, especially flexible parts.
If still some strength remains- swap wheels front/back.

Most of stuff I will need to look for in my "storage", but;

Jack- check
Ramps- check
Stands-check
Set of sockets- 3 sets, with ratchets and whatnot.
Something to mark alignment strut/hub- I'll figure something out.
Thorx bits/keys- check
Oil filter socket -check (it's a petrol, different filter than in D5)
New filter- check
New oil- 10ltrs, check
Headlight- check
Ratchet straps- currently on site, bring back home (just in case I need to detach ball joints)
18mm spanner- to buy (as above)
Centre hub bolts -to buy (not reusing old)
20ltrs of dry red.. naah... that's still bubbling. Won't be ready before Christmas at least..

I've just checked and I actually paid £25 each for the bearings.
It was the upper spring seats which were £12.50 each so your deal is almost the same.
