Volvo C70 change automatic gearbox oil

when i go to my friend is (mechanic) I will tell them to do. in this way

Volvo C70/LPG Cab 2.4T 2003 Auto ( With the crap 5 speed box.. give me back the 4 speed one why?

And how about lpg? Is good?
I asked for information but they advised me against it

The 5 speed suffers from flair on gear changes and is a bit of a **** gearbox to be honest. The 4-speed automatic seems to be a lot more tough and robust than the 5 speed and also the gear changes seem a lot quicker.

The LPG system was ok and I got approximately 200 miles per 45l of LPG.

I recently sold that car now and got an Audi A4 Quattro cabriolet instead the build quality seems a lot better then the C70 even though I did like it.

Some time i use kickdown like 2/3 time in One month
This can damage the gearbox?

My C70s are ME7 with the 5spd auto.
My S70R is pre-ME7 with the 4spd auto.

As a result I'd say the switch was around 1999.

Nope no damage.

I used kick at least once a day and sometimes several times (doing 1,000 miles a week). 250,000 miles, regular gearbox oil changes and the gearbox works perfect!

now I have the money to change gearbox oil I have been to the mechanic advised me this oil atf t-iv fluid ... Its mean dexron 4? now undecided
I also need to change the spark plugs in C70
Normaly i use auto doc some adives?

As for spark plugs, get OEM Volvo or Bosch plugs (look identical to the OEM and would indicate Bosch is the new OEM supplier)

If its the 4spd auto box, I believe Dexron ATF is fine on these. If its the 5spd auto box then it needs a specific oil grade that i cannot remember but, I am sure fellow members will know of the top of their head.

4 speed =Dexron 3
5 speed= JWS3309
