Thanks AnotherV60,

Here is the link to the images of the new facelift cars: https://www.media.volvocars.com/glob...ia/photos/list

I was just researching the new V60- think I'll hold off until the new engines are available / prices available.

Cheers.

Bob.

Auto express confirms these will be delivered in May, seems the reverse cross traffic feature now features auto braking.

So both diesel & petrol hybrids with the KERS will all be under the "B" badging.
You can see how diesels are going to be gradually phased out.

"The new mild hybrid models will be signified by ‘B’ badging, with B5 and B6 petrols and a B5 diesel taking the place of the existing T5, T6 and D5 units. The non-hybrid models will be gradually phased out, with the D5 joining the range first, followed by the petrol variants."

Mild hybrids will slowly be phasing out ALL non hybrid versions.. But do enlighten us, please.. maybe you see something I don't..

Anyhow.. thumbs up for mild hybridization..

Has anyone noticed what exactly has been redesigned?? Apart from the concave grille..

What's to dislike about this? Nothing. It's a win-win situation. I have just done 80 miles on the A487 at nearly 41mpg. I wonder how much better a mild hybrid diesel would be?

Would these be plug-in like the existing T8 version or would these be true hybrids that just regenerate as they travel only?

Having just taken delivery of my XC90 T8, I am glad it is very minor exterior changes. Car still looks fresh so why ruin it.

New lower bumper and subtle changes to lower rear also looks like the RDesign will have black window surrounds, roof rails and wing mirrors. Wheels look to be a new design too.

The B models will most likely be regenative engines rather than plug-in. The plug-in versions will be labelled Twin Engine

As with you, I am averaging 41-42mpg doing a mix of mostly city driving and some motorway. On the motorway I tend to charge the battery using the motor. I was surpised by how little extra fuel it consumes
