Question Sensus connect complimentary upgrade

Has anyone heard anything about the upgrade for the "new features coming up?" The leaflet that came with the car said available from November but I cannot find any reference to it anywhere on Volvo website.

That explains why they are keeping quiet about it.. Should have had all the features etc sorted before launch> Already had sat nav updates and other modifications done.

Just received feedback from Volvo

"Please note that the all new XC90 software update (which includes Apple Car Play) is now due week 48. We anticipate that week 48 will be spent testing here at Volvo head office and then rolling this out to the dealer. We understand that the update can take a couple of hours to complete therefore the dealers will need to arrange bookings accordingly. We expect therefore that the first customer cars will be completed at the beginning of December"

Will wait and see what develops.

What testing needs to be done at Volvo head office ? Still testing after all this time ? This does not give much confidence in the Apple Car Play at all. Looks like we have to book even more days in at the Volvo hospital !

We have the feeling that the owners of the new XC90 are paying the price for buying a new model of car , this has unfortunately has given us the impression that Volvo are testing cars at the owners expense.

Volvo has made so many promisses over the new XC90 and failed to deliver on most of them, such as the Apple play which was supposed to be mid November and now we are looking some time in December ,once again Volvo has negagaed on their promisses.

A dissalusioned XC90 owner!

They can test and test and test but until they actually get it out into the real world they are never going to fix all the issues,

This is a complete new car more than just model wise,

The way the car works and the networks are all new, they even produced a whole new diagnostic system for it including the way we plug it in is even differant to rest of cars

I have had mine back twice for parking assist bugs. All sorted now but I'm going to wait for reports on the new update before I get it done. I suspect there will be new bugs and the new software will be tweaked again before it is stable. I am happy at the moment now that everything is working!

We had the bulleting through today,

Yeah its available from middle of next week but i wouldn't all rush at once and give us time to load it onto our demo's first and make sure everything works as it should as it will involve more than one software update,
