Default Water leak into passengers side front footwell (L.H.D.)

Hello and good evening to you all.

I'm having a problem with my 2004 Volvo V50, left hand drive.
After every rainshower, there is water dripping from under the dashboard, onto the footwell. There is so much water that after one night of rain, i collect some 2 liters / half a gallon of water.
Drips are coming from the steel pipe/strut that runs along the width of the car onder the dash.
It takes a while to start dripping, about half an hour after first raindrops have fell, and continues to drip for about 2 days after the rain.
Took glovebox out completely, and everything is dry behind the dash, except for the part where it drips from.

So i've been googling around for a few days now, and ruled out the most common issues.
Here is a list of what i have tried:
A/C drain hose: is clean and open.
Windscreen scruttle/cowl: is clean and when i pour water in, it runs out immediately from behind the wheels/inner fender.
No sunroof, so no blocked drains.
Windscreen is not loose.
Inside/behind the A-pillar trim is completely dry.

Did anyone have this issue too, and could perhaps tell me what there fix was?
Added a picture to explain where the water drips.

Take carpets out and leave them out until resolved as you want the carpets to be bone dry (otherwise they grow mouldy quickly).
Just put rubber mats on the floor.

Then you need to close the car and focus on one area at a time, moving from bottom of windscreen, going up, with a hose sprinkler, and try and find the location. Give it a good 30min of water in each area whilst you try and find the place the water enters.

Can be tricky, water can run from one side of the car to the other.

Already took carpet out to dry. Thanks for the tip.
Gonna try the hose trick, hoping we will have a dry day here!

There was a problem with washer fluid reservoirs leaking, think this was a recall on some models?
Maybe worth checking out.
