Oh dear...spent all of that time cleaning only to head for a very muddy field!

Hope some of it evaporates by Sunday morning!

Dry for now Jim, think we're expecting more showers tomorrow but not as bad, the rain is moving south!

Default BBC 5 Day Forecast

Saturday, Light showers, sunny intervals, temps Max 18, min 6, wind SW 7mph, visibility very poor.

Sunday, Sunny intervals, some cloud but dry, temps max 20, min 9, wind NW 6mph visibility poor.

That is if you believe anyone's weather forecasts

I'd still be bringing some waterproofs!

Could make for an entertaing sports day, bit of rally cross or grass handbrake drifting, allthough that didnt go down to well the last time we were there.

Do you think I should bring 4 planks to park on???
Or a couple of sand ladders?
Snow chains?
A boat, I've been trying to get rid of that damn boat for 18 months!

Having been too busy to catch any news today I was somewhat taken aback by the 10 o'clock news re the flooding in the Midlands and Yorkshire!

Fortunately I have a Royal Yachting Association class 2 powerboat certificate, a marine radio ticket and an old lifejacket in the loft. I'll put a set of flares in the boot as well.................
