Default servicing

hi, have purchased 2014 xc60 2.4 awd se with full volvo service history, just wondering is it really worth continuing services with main dealer or going to a reputable garage with lower costs. i know you get a few extras with main dealer such as software updates, breakdown cover etc, but is it really worth the extra cost?next service due may 2018 is an interim service. main dealer or not??? many thanks

Whilst its still so new I probably would to preservere with main dealers to help the resale value, and keep some level of goodwill from Volvo should something go wrong outside of warranty and the potential for Volvo offer to help, something that won't happen if you service it outside the network.

Give it a couple of years though and absolutely not, take it to a regonised independent specialist.

Check the Volvo Service Price Indicator. I agree with Tomoose to keep it in the network at least for time being.
