480 Drivers...whats this?

Hello People....

Quick question-what is the little instrument in the attached picture that i have circled in red? If it seems unclear-it's a rectangular instrument, which looks the same size as the usual dashboard clock. It has what looks like a recessed digital LCD screen, and three grey round buttons underneath. I have seen it in a few 480's in the scrapyards, but im not sure as to what it does. Im more intrigued as ive now spotted it in this facelift 440 cabin. Is it just a digital clock by any chance? If it proves to be of some use, i may whip one out for my 440 :9

So, enlighten me guys/gals... :)

Hey Dan,
Never seen that before! Maybe like you say its a digital clock, only other thing that springs to mind is maybe climate control - so you can set the exact temperature from the LCD. CAnt you turn the ignition on on the scrapped 440 and have a play?!
BTW that 480s got my aluminium dash :|

Well Daniel,

it's nothing fancy, just an ordinary digital clock. But with a timer ...
Replacing you analogue clock with a digital one should be a piece of cake :)

Hi...

Cheers-got it in and works ok. Just looks a tad odd as its the only instrument not covered in Carbon Fibre! Will get it done soon...

If i see one Matt, i'll grab it!
