Hi, you may want to post this in the wanted section instead of the for sale section, good luck with search.

Rich

I think you are right, one of several 850R 's doing the rounds. Don't want to sound as if am am slagging the county off ( I am one of the rare fans of Birmingham ) but would be very sceptical of purchasing any car in this part of the world ( particularly given there are 2 contact numbers ) in case it is in anyway linked to that lovely fella, Dana / Michael / whatever his name is this week !

He has been very quiet for the past year, anybody any knowledge ?

He said recently that he is no longer selling 850Rs as they are bought by chavs now and he is specialising in BMW M3s.
He also said that he is responsible for driving the prices of 850Rs down all by himself.
Where he got that from I don’t know as we all know they are on the rise.
The blokes a clown.
He’s gotta very bad rep.
Avoid.

Are we talking about the same guy who puts in his adds he's owned 100s of these and he come across all cocky about he knows everything there is to know about 850s etc

Most of his pics Are outside his house, with several 850s on his drive and road?

His adverts are that patronising it's embarrassing each one of his for sale adds, reads as like the one he has for sale is the best one he's owned so far.

Veef, Rich

Yes that's the one and as you have stated avoid at all costs.

He has been silent for a year or so and Veef believes he has moved on to BMW 's. Might have something to do with the S60R he purchased with a split liner for a snip and then moved on to some unsuspecting soul for top money. I saw the evidence at the time - he knew full what he was doing.

Also has the audacity to suggest that forums like this do nothing but slag him off !

That one's a former Dana special.

Bought by a poor fella who had the world of faults to fix.
Sorted now and by all accounts it's a decent car, but it will always be tarnished with the Dana brush.

Fast forward a couple of years and a fella from Birmingham bought it, same surname ae Dana, same city, but not related. Nope. Not at all.
It popped up on a few Facebook pages for sale, but unsurprisingly no one bought it.

It's now on ebay and Copart because he can't shift it.

I tried having dealings with Dana once with a saffron S70R he had for sale.
I knew the car as it used to belong to a mate of mine, so I knew it's faults and history, but a nice car all the less and was always gutted I missed out on it when he sold it on a couple of years previously.

I asked ONE question about the car and was met with a barrage of abuse, culminating in him throwing insults about mental illness and being bipolar this hit a nerve, so lost my rag with him in a big way.
Unfortunately for him, I flagged it up to the mods.
Turns out they'd been looking for an excuse to ban him for a while as they were well aware of the crap he peddled, but I don't think it's as easy to ban folk from FB groups as on private forums, etc.

As a result, I've had numerous threats of him and his "Henshmen" (his words) paying me a visit and all sorts of crap like that. Not that I'm bothered, he can come down and would be most welcome to meet the table leg that lives under my bed, but some folk wouldn't be so hardened to threats.
Also seems to be stalking me on Facebook and just won't let it go.

So, yeah... Real piece of work, that one.
Avoid at all costs.

Oh he sounds like a really nice piece of work.

What a scummer, shame some fantastic machinery falls into the wrong hands, volvo clearly not the only make, my friend bought a Daytona violet M3 which turned out to be death trap.

That said he sounds like a guy I'd enjoy meeting, I might make contact to view and listen to what drivel he comes out with.
