i would love to, if its a Volvo engine in the Focus then i would of thought the bell housing would be the same so shouldn't need to much work (he says hoping). I'd need to research gear ratios to see if its actually worth it but it can't be too long before we start finding crashed ST's in the scrap yard (or creeps round bro's girlfriend who works for Ford )

would the 6 cog box out the Focus fit onto a 850?
Nothings guaranteed Ped, but I understand it’s based on S60R power train and running gear. Check out these spy shots from Nov/Dec last year note the front calipers. Will have a look.

Vauxhall is not the only car to wear the Griffin, I was referring to a Welsh built sports car the Gilbern. A bit before your time lol……………………

Be intresting to see how well these new engines respond to be tuned compared to the older ones because the police seem to be doing a good job of breaking them in standard form,

We seem to be getting load's of the new engined T5's in at work that the police have managed to break, think we've done 3 engines so far with another sat on ramp waiting for one, got another that we think headgaskets gone on and think we've done 3 turbos cos they've failed before they should,

The older 2.3's seemed alot more robust compared to new 2.5's

Yes the Classics rule, a true Volvo, not a Fixed Or Repaired Daily,

To Right Gary, always vowed to never buy a new volvo as soon a FORD bought them over, I haven't got enough fingers and toes to count the number of new S60/S80/V70 I used to pass when I lived in MK and traveled to work down the M1/M25 in London for a while.

Everyday at least 2/3.

I hope that now FORD have said the are keeping Jaguar after the Detroit Show they might be forced to sell of Volvo to a Euro /Jap car maker the get themselfs out of the crap financialy.....
