Tell you what Mr 4x4, we'll call your car Chalk and my car Cheese from now on hahaha

On a serious note though it really is looking fantastic, almost no signs of use or weathering to any part of the car, a credit to the owners in its life and a credit to your "special" attention to detail me thinks

If you fancy moving closer to Derby, I have a couple of cars that would do well from your clearly very talented attention! A credit to you. Rob

Thanks RaelG, for your kind words, with a little work you could have your car looking this good, possibly better. Never say never and aim high

Today I gave the spare wheel well a clean out

That is the after picture and I'm afraid it won't get any better. There's no rust and it shows 23 years of that magic word...patina

This is as good as it gets for this old car...

I decided today for the first time in my life to paint my brake calipers as they were annoying me the way they were. I didn't want them to stick out like a sore thumb which left me with a couple of options, silver or black. Silver paint is best sprayed and I couldn't be bothered with all the dismantling and masking so black brushed was the order of the day.
