Volvo 144 De Luxe 1973 For Sale

Hi all,

I'm putting up for sale my 1973 144 De Luxe 4spd manual with overdrive. The car has been sat for quite some time and rust is begining to have its effect!

I put some new points in it yesterday and some fresh fuel and she fired into life and sounds very healthy. It does drive although the brakes are sticking on.

Now it is being sold as a restoration project as it will need a bit of work to get it back to tip top condition although all parts are present. It will require someone with more time on their hands than me!

I have loads of history for the car.

I have no idea what it is worth so am inviting offers although if there is enough interest in parts i may consider breaking?

When was the car last on the road please?

It looks fairly straight from the outside where is the rust please? Is it structural?

How many miles on the engine?

The car hasn't been on the road for about 10yrs. The front n/s wing has a rust hole in it and theres some around the bottom of the windscreen. I will have to check the chassis but i believe it isnt too bad.

As for the mileage its around 120k and the service history will back this up!
