Default C70 Air Con problem

Good Morning,

I have a 2008 C70 which we love. A year ago it developed an air con problem. Whilst driving it simply stopped working, thereafter it has maintained the pattern of working well for 10-15 minutes the just blows outside temperature into the car.

It’s been in several garages, re-gassed numerous times, had a new condenser fitted and still no joy.

Has anyone else had this problem? Any suggestions on my next step?

We drive on the continent quite a lot and this has become a major issue.

Many thanks.
Rob

Probably the clutch on the compressor needs adjusting , can you see the centre of the compressor pulley rotating when the cooling stops ?

my c70 had a problem with ac compressor. your symptoms looks like ac clutxh problem. get it sorted out and i suggest to change bearing as well. mine stopped to work and broke alternator belt. it stopped me abroad for 4 days but luckily it not broke cambelt which cause engine damage.
