  • VOC Members: There is no login facility using your VOC membership number or the details from page 3 of the club magazine. You need to register in the normal way
  • AOL Customers: Make sure you check the 'Remember me' check box otherwise the AOL system may log you out during the session. This is a known issue with AOL.

Red face 340 rev counter?

ok, ... my 340 has a clock where the rev counter should be.... i am wanting to put rev counter in... i know where i can get one for a 340 but have no idea how easy these are to fit....anybody here know how its done and how hard it is.......diy job or should i fork out for the mechanic to do it??

On late cars, rev counters are plug and play. Just remove the instrument cluster from the dash, undo a few screws and replace the clock with the rev counter.

you MAY find there is no wire for the tachometer to the Renix ignition computer ... but the 12v feed and earth will be there already in the mounting hole in the dash..
