I spoke to him but he said it wasn’t turbocharged which left me a little suspicious because the t in t5 stands for turbocharged 5 cylinder surely? Yeh you’re right about that 1 being a little pricey . Nice looking though! Hopefully we can get 1 soon!

i have a v50 d5 and a c70 t5, now i know the c70 weighs a lot more but of the two, i find the d5 way more useful in its power delivery. i push the pedal and it accelerates, no matter if im going slow or fast. if i want the t5 c70 to react i have to floor the pedal, then it reacts.

maybe in the lighter v50 the t5 has torque to pull from anywhere but it certainly doesnt in the c70

oh and the t5 never saw a petrol station it didnt want to visit.

so if it was me, i wouldnt swap a v50 d5 for a t5.
