Any information on this car would be appreciated; looking to buy. I understand that this model is a 145 Estate (yellow) ? Thanks.

Thank you for your help. To my knowledge there was no sun roof - unless 1 was added at a later date. Best wishes.

To be honest and I hate to tell you this, but there is a very slim chance that the car even exists anymore.

It's moderately famous
You do realize this specific car was featured prominently in the first season of the 1976 BBC TV series "Survivors", yes? It is a collectible. And yes it was originally yellow.

Hi, I am not a Volvo owner, but have just watched the First episode of The Good Life, and noticed the Yellow Volvo Estate Reg No DJH 180K Featured prominently in the Episode. Typed the Reg into Googled and here I am.
It is Jerrys Car, Toms neighbour, and Tom is given a lift to the office in it in the First Episode. here is a link if you want to see the Car for yourself. It featured throughout most of the Series as far as I remeber. So it was regularly driven by the Great Paul Eddington, Good Life, Yes Minister, Etc, now sadly no longer with us. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oyZ--z8RpOI Its plate is clearly visible at 4m.35s If you intend to buy it, I think the TV connection should put a great deal of value on it. Good Luck |
