Default Engine mount issue

Hello guys and girls

Was swapping bottom mounts on my S40 (B4202S2 engine) and found two issues.

First one, new rear bottom mount seems to be a lot smaller than the one installed. Even though p/n is exactly the same on both of them 30611465

Can't even install it to the crossmember as holes won't match.

Any of you ever had this issue?

Second problem is regarding front bottom mount. It has 16mm hole while bolt that goes through it and engine bracket is 10mm.

But there was no sleeve that would go through the core and this just makes no sense to me. The one that was mounted had no sleeve either. And there's nothing on the parts catalog either. Any thought on that?

Also, is this mount hole (marked red) on crossmember adjustable? It sure does look like that. Tried to make it slide but without success. If it would slide that shorter rear mount would fit.

Are the replacement mounts genuine Volvo or pattern?

Replacement part. The one that was on the vehicle was also replacement part.

Yes I know, that's what I wrote. Body is 9mm shorter.

______

Anyways, solved, seems like my 2003 S40 somehow has rear mount 30611144 that was supposed to be fitted to S40 up to 2000. IDK why or how but that is the case and it fits normally.

Best to check with a main dealer because what you have is all over the place.
The old non Volvo mount carrying a Volvo part number is shady too as it's only Volvo's number to put on their own parts.

Main dealer prices on some parts can be reasonable so don't assume it'll cost a fortune.

And when you factor in the time spent trying to get it to fit only to find it can't plus the stress factor.
