I’ve been chuckling to myself with this thread, it’s nice to have a bit of economy but running a 2 tonne plus 4x4 with a 4.4 V8 petrol coupled to an auto box & then being obsessed with mpg figures baffles me.

Just to chuck an iron in the fire, the car with the slightly poorer consumption might have nothing wrong with it, it could be the other car that is better than it should be

Find me a Car

That is the safest car on the road for my family (5 and 2 dogs) that can take all our stuff, harp , kite surfing, 3 sets of golf club plus towing and automatic for wife.

It also double as utility for farm jobs with a flatbed.

All for under $10
Running on LPG at equivalent 40MPG. (500+ Range)

When you find one pls let me know...

The older car has Iridium spark plugs, I have ordered same for the other. Lets see..

Re-did Maths its 10% difference.. Worth investigating.

Records do tell stories..
But I don't have the experience..
Just wondering if there are those among us that are passionate about efficiency

I thought mine should be more efficient, I was thinking about getting the LPG serviced but now i am going to do it. The fuel gauge is not reading properly.

I can’t fully verify that figure yet.,
Not enough use to accurately determine.,
(Of course a lot depends on UR price of LPG)
The actually mileage is maybe 5% less.
