V50 1.6 d 2011
Reduced engine Performance. New Complete EGR Assembly, New MAF Sensor, dismantled Turbo inspect and clean, dismantle throttle body inspect clean, New Air filter. DTC EGR Valve stuck open, is this because the new EGR needs to be reset ? because using OB11 Diagnostic tool which appears to reset the EGR, but message returns after few miles.

Was it a genuine Volvo EGR valve? That's a first place to look if the EGR valve was really to blame because aftermarket ones really don't play nicely at all sadly. Yes, it needs calibrated through VIDA once replaced.
What were the original error codes when scanned with VIDA? Are you sure that it's EGR related? Reduced engine performance could relate to the glow plug system (diesel), EGR, turbo or a host of other faults.
