Wink V70 power steering flush.

Just became the proud owner of a V70 2002. In good shape for age and mileage. Old man spec with 140 bhp 5 cylinder petrol in "Ash Gold" . First post on the forum.
Question regarding power steering fluid. Present fluid is red (and a bit murky) so obvious it has been running on Dexron III. I am planning a flush. Any advice on keep going with the Dexron or use Pentosin which should have been the factory fill. Will a switch back to Pentosin be a problem or bring any advantages.
Thanks Johan

Use CHF 11s and use enough to convert the fluid to the bright and clean green.
If you're just draining and filling, repeat as necessary and 2 litres is usually enough.

You can check if the factory fill was dextron by looking under the cap of the power steering, the red seal means it had dextron or green seal for ch11s. Volvo changed to ch11s to improve steering in cold climate.
