P0101 MAF Performance Problem
Hi all.
Recently I had this code pop up. VIDA reports that the signal is too high. In normal driving it doesn't appear, when I put my foot down hard then it occurs and I get power loss. The car still travels at motorway speeds but is clearly slow in acceleration. Last few months (Before this code ever happened) I had replaced the throttle body with a second hand one because the gears on mine snapped. It was in good condition, clean, and the gears were all fine. I also replaced the turbo intake charge pipe seals as they had physically ripped and the charge pipe fell off the turbo. Car has drive fine since those changes. Only other (presumably unrelated issues) are bad engine tappets, suspected vacuum leak. I've logged the MAF airflow and MAP pressure and clearly they are both showing the same values so it doesn't look like faulty sensor. The error never came up during this logging.
