Default Volvo S60/V70R headlight help!

So…

Two months ago some nonce couldn’t be bothered staying in lane and hit my beloved S60R.

Fortunately I have a dash cam, his insurance admitted liability and to my surprise my insurance decided to repair not write off.

Fine by me as I’m desperate to keep the car.

Fast forward to now and the headlight estimated supply date is now end of January and have been advised it could be longer (if at all).

The part number 31446820 is specific to the model. It doesn’t appear to be available aftermarket and I haven’t been able to find a second hand unit in the uk.

I have found units in the US and Germany. Both left hand drive vehicles. Does anyone know if the beam pattern could be altered to suit a right hand drive vehicle.

At present my insurance are intending to write off the car which will mean me buying it back and paying for the body work that has already been completed at three times the cost I could have had it done for, still having to find a headlight and not having a car. .

My 2006 S40 can be adjusted for left or right hand drive, so hopefully your car should also have this function.
Its just a lever that the owner can switch over.
The procedure is shown in the handbook, available online if you don't have one.
