Just noticed yesterday a bit of damp on inside of front left pillar. Remember being told before about windscreen issue, is this common and can it be repaired or is it new screen time?

It's not terrivly common on the XC90. If it is a screen bonding failure a decent fitter can remove and refit the old one. Mind you, the cost may be more than the deductable for a new screen on your insurance if the current screen should accidentally crack...

If you have one check the sunroof drain on that side is not blocked. A bit of bowden cable carefully poked down from above should to it.
