familymangreg: Quite what 'if selected in the centre display' means I don't know!
:wq[/QUOTE] In your car settings in Sensus you can tick the boxes so that heated seats, heated steering wheel, front and or rear screens and door mirror heaters come on automatically if temperature is low enough for them to be the required on engine start up, I have mine set to come on and it works great, will be even better now with remote start. That's very good news.

Remote Start worked at the second attempt for me. I have various heaters set to come on when it's cold but as I only did the remote start a couple of mins before getting into the car I'm not sure if they came on. If they did come on they certainly didn't stay on after I 'started' the car for driving and they didn't show as 'on' on the central display. However, the sun was shining on the driver's side so perhaps the trigger temperature hadn't been reached to activate the heaters.
If Remote Start had been available when I ordered the car I might not have spent £1,200 on the auxiliary heater. I know it heats things up faster, etc, but at that price you have to wonder if it's worth it now. I need to play more with RS and pre-conditioning to see how they interact.

Maybe I need to unlock my profile, set those setting and then save (lock) it again. :wq
