I have been tempted by VOC subscription for a while, but not sure I can justify £60 for two years worth and whether I'll actually use it.

Do you think it's worth the money?

I can't see myself using it loads.

They are on, the panel lights only come on when the start switch is turned, you will not notice much heat in the time the D5 engine is running on remote start but it will heat up quicker once you are moving. (Quicker than if you did not do a remote start and windscreen will be clear).

As nu11eaf says, the D5 takes a while to heat up if you don't have the aux heater.

The seats will only come on automatically if the external temperature is below 10C.

It is not a large amount to pay for two years and will add to the overall enjoyment of your ownership even if you do not use it much, remote start in cold or hot weather, to preheat/defrost or cool your car, ability to send destinations from your phone or other device to the cars satnav, trip journals (handy if you use your car for business and need the mileage for claiming expenses) you will be addicted to the trip journal for a while checking each trip to see what MPG you attchieved.

+1 to all of that. As well as a certain smugness as I get in my warm, defrosted car and drive away while my wife sprays/scrapes away at her frozen windscreen.
