I mean the car has been good to me otherwise, only other stuff that needed doing in the 6 years I've owned it are serviceable things wearing out and it's got 150k miles on the clock so I don't think it's too bad.

Question

Sounds really silly but ie had very similar fault codes, and then got worse, to the point where I loose all electrics and power windows, no dash or speedo!!! Has anyone been in the passenger seat recently? Wriggling and pushing their feet under the glove box?

There is an ecu under there with electrical block connections. I found when I had a passenger, I've had issues. Grab the wiring on all the blocks and pull and push up into the ECU. Leave ignition off for 5 minutes then start the car, may solve it if you have wierd problems.

I now remind ally passengers to keep their feet back and to themselves..

Yeah this is well known by forum users. Weird / unexplained electrical issues, usually due to things coming loose in the CEM.
