S80 Mk2 4.4 V8 - Sports Suspension options
Hello everyone,
Last weekend I picked up a 56 reg S80 V8 Auto. It's got 164K on the clock, but besides a rattle (I'm getting looked at next Friday) the car drives impeccably for it's age and mileage. However, I would like to tighten up the handling a bit but I don't want to go too hard core. I'm considering Eibach Pro Kit springs and Bilstein B4 dampers. Has anybody got this combo and what's the verdict, would I be better going for the B12 kit? I do want to retain as much ride comfort as I can. Thanks!! |

The Eibach springs can be installed onto the 4c dampers, no issue However if you replace the 4C dampers with something else the system will trigger a error code and you will lose the chassis settings. This can be remedy by take apart the sensor out of the 4c damper and zip tie to the dampers and adding a resistor to the sensor. |
