  • VOC Members: There is no login facility using your VOC membership number or the details from page 3 of the club magazine. You need to register in the normal way

The aircon compressor on my S60 D3 gave up, no aircon. During this time my car was regenerating roughly every 2-300 miles.
I had the compressor replaced last October and since then it's gone back to regenerating every 1,000 or so miles.
It could be a coincidence, maybe the switch to winter diesel, I will be keeping an eye on it as the weather warms up.

Air con has nothing to do with the DPF or regeneration.

You'd think, on the other hand it does put load on the crank for which the engine has to work that little bit harder which would then make you think it would regen more with Aircon.

Probably just a coincidence, I don't like coincidence. We shall see.
