Sat Nav/Phone: Anyone clone the Hard drive in the MMM unit?

I did however install an update Hardware, Software discs that i purchased from volvo for 40 canadian I will post the part numbers for reference, I just have to go back to my shop and grab them. These discs are not map updates and can be used multiple times according to volvo service bulletins.

OK, so the nav was from the same region. North Amarica is one region, Europe another, AsiaPacific yet another etc.

Also, I believe the USA may have the standard security turned off... but I'm not sure. Anyway, congrats on getting the nav going.

You don't need a separate OS update disc, as the OS update is included on the nav map DVDs. The first time you insert a new map DVD disc 01, the first thing it does is update the OS.

A separate OS update disc is only needed if you are a shop offering an OS update without a map update.
