Supposedly you can disconnect the sender wire, slacken off the sender then re-tighten the sender and re-connect the sender wire.

According to the Haynes book of Myths, if you remove it completely you need to use a new copper washer when re-inserting/replacing the sender.

It's not the brake failure light that's bothering me, it's bleeding the brake's if it's moved and only allowing secondary/emergency brake's to operate.

I changed all 4 callipers(rear hard lines too) and master cylinder.
Didn't touch the spider valve.
I did use the easy bleed system and went through a fair amount of brake fluid to flush it all through.
I had tried a Vacuum pump first but didn't achieve the results I was expecting.

This is interesting, but beyond my little experience. I remember a thread by Nick Lewin about brake difficulties. He achieved some improvement by having the new master cylinder fitment corrected. There were posts about the sequence in which brake nipples should be bled, and about bleeding with the rear of the car jacked up to bleed the spider valve effectively. A very interesting thread if you can find it.

Regards.
