Default What from a phase 1 fits a phase 2 car?

So I own a V40 1.8i GDI 2001 B4184SJ car, phase 2 and it has some emission (exhaust) issues and it barely passed MOT last year.

I found a B4204S S40 1997, phase 1 that I can get for like 60£.

My question is would the whole exhaust system fit my phase 2 car?
Would the wheel fit mine? The S40 has some nice alu rims which my car doesn't so it would be nice if they fit.

And apart from the exhaust and wheels what else would fit the phase 2 car?

The short answer is: not much. Exhaust is different and the down pipe may well be different as your car has the Mitsi engine and the P1 a Volvo engine. Yes, wheels should fit.

Bonnet and front doors will fit, although the wiring looms will be different as are the door cards. Rear doors, no, as one is a V the other an S. Seats, no, as the airbag operation is different. Front wings, no, as the wheel arch is in a different location. Front bumper, no, for the same reason as the wings. Suspension, no, as P2 had redesigned suspension. Brake calipers, yes. Engine, gearbox and driveshafts, no, as they are different engine spec's and the wiring loom and ECU will be different. Sundry switches, small components and random fittings may or may not fit depending on what they are.

Suspension will fit, as LONG as you have the top mounts from the donor car, i have p2 suspension on a p1 so other way around should work too, dont quote me on what length drop links you'd need though, phase 1s have 200mm ones and p2's have 267mm ones as standard, i prefer p1 suspension myself, the p1 top mount design is far far superior to the p2 one in my opinion, the top mounts on their own are not interchangeable though as said.

I had P1 T4 springs in my P2 and no problems with them, otherwise all P2 parts
