S40: Different Setup to normal oil Filter 58 Reg S40 2.0D LUX

Hi all, been a member for years but strayed , now back with 2009 S40 Lux 2.0D on a 58 Reg, I have recently being searching about Oil Change, I have the sump plug that is an allen key fitting, didn't like look of it but it came out/ in without a problem, now heres the difference , all threads I read are saying about the difficulty getting access to oil filter so when i looked at mine ,what a suprise, I didnt have to move a thing i could see it and there is plenty of room around it, now it is bugging me that everyone is saying they have to move fuel filter or like the video move intake pipe and squeeze hand under it, does anyone know anything, has mine been modified or did Volvo see sense from 2009 ? I will try to put a Pic on here , never done it before. I am glad mine was easy but curiosity is killing me, anyone have any idea or info how is it like this? I have just noticed this has gone into forum for older S40 don't know how but obviously should have been 04- to present.
