Sorry mate, I can't tell from that. A similar view point to the video of the column and lock module in situ. As it stands its just a close up of butchered something.

If what I think is happening, ie there's still remains of the studs spragged into the column bracket, then I wonder if a junior hacksaw blade will fit between lock and bracket but only taking out the remaining stud.

Other than that I suspect it's column out and onto a bench.

Wow, you really did have a hammer.

I think unless your adept at working upside down with a right angled drill then take the column out.

You'll take more time trying to retrieve this in situ and possibly further damage the lock and your own mental wellbeing.

Pictures on this bay of E listing https://www.ebay.co.uk/c/1517023829 are good to assist with understanding how it engages with the column.

Have you tried powering up your ignition in case it's the plunger that is engaged and denying the housing enough movement to disengage?

Yes tried powering the ignition but doesn't make a difference. Am thinking it will be easier to remove the steering column.

Thats for another day, on the plus side if it jams again I can easily get to the module to give it a tap.

Thank you for your help
