I found on other forums that electronic gauge has some latency, it cannot immediately recognise new oil level after topping up or draining - it takes 3 driving cycles or at least 30 km drive and 2 hours rest on flat surface for DIM to display new oil level - until these conditions are fulfilled "oil level not available" will be shown.

The optimal level after oil change should be cca. 37 mm (+- 4 mm).
Drove about 80 miles today, then parked up for 2 hours on a level driveway. Afterwards, the electronic dipstick showed minimum and the Car Scanner app gave a reading of only 20.63mm. At no point did I get any warning messages, but I did add another 0.25L before driving home.
