Mike -

Did you check the mirrors were electric?

I'd like the mirrors, front and rear door cards and the light switch block, posted to Peterborough, please.

Let me know how much that's going to come to with an email address and I'll get the money sent over. I'd rather not see those parts go in the bin.

What a shame, as these pre-91 ones are almost extinct... still, if none wants it...

'Tis a shame.

But, most of us have more than one Volvo and only so much room, time and money to devote to them.

I've rescued 2 480s and a 460 now, and have 2 other Volvos and a Capri to contend with, otherwise it would be sat outside Casa-del-sideways by now, along with a couple of nice 300s that needed saving.

That's the trouble with trying to sell a car on here. Much as we all appreciate how good a car they are, it's a closed market really. I had a lovely late manual 940 HPT for sale a while ago, excellent condition, reasonably low mileage, on the run up to caravan season for a bargain price and it still took an age to sell.

Like I say, very sad, but unfortunately ebay seems to be the only way most of the time.

Steve

Will be around for a couple more weeks, I will try to keep it until end of July but it will have to be gone for scrap then, some superb parts, does seem a shame to waste the bits but I cannot keep too much more in my lock up...

Car will be off to the crusher next week, 2nd August so ask me quickly for any parts, remember this car has only done 44000 miles and is a superb runner, I will not be keeping anything so it will all be crushed, I can take off parts and post at economical prices, thanks

Do the earlier cars have electric aerials? I'm just after the mast, motor not working isn't a concern for a rear wing mounted aerial.

Did the door switches for the interior light get taken? If not I'd be very grateful for them...
