265BHp as standard

Rica do a map that takes it to 330 (Speak/PM to Muscas he has this)
BSR do a PPC that takes you to 310BHp (You can put the map on and off when you wish) I have this-so ask away.

Default MTE software.

The premium MTE Swedish written software will give you 320bhp and 430nm of torque for the later V70R AWD Auto.

It costs just £435 including VAT. If you are not too far from the north western home counties I can install the software if you visit me in London NW7 or Prestwood, Bucks.. Otherwise you can install the software yourself with the aid of MTE's unique Softloader device that I can loan you against a returnable deposit of £155. The device is needed as an interface between the car's OBD port and an XP equipped laptop. If you buy the Softloader outright it does enable you to swap between standard Volvo and MTE software at will with the laptop. With the Softloader you can additionally buy MTE data logging and diagnostics packages for £65 each.

MTE software is written by a leading independant Swedish software engineer who works with equipment compatible with that you would have found on a bench in Volvo's Gothenburg engine development shop, and with the most intimate knowledge of all Volvo's own data.

Many of the owners of later model modified Volvos have left this otherwise very busy, informative and much valued site for a more specialised rendevous www.t5d5.org where you will find much informative information about those active in this market, their products and services.

Best regards, Don.

PS. with these right hand drive AWD cars it is not possible to fit any more efficient and larger downpipe so you have to stick with the outputs available with the exhaust gasses passing through a standard diameter downpipe and large standard cat. You can gain a wee bit of reduction in back pressure from the Ferrita twin outlet stainless sports system that fits after the small silencer after the standard d'pipe.

Your best resource is www.vpcuk.co.uk or www.t5d5.co.uk or www.volvoforums.org.uk where many owners of modified and later model Volvo cars congregate, some are very knowledgeable and experienced when it comes to tuning.

Let's get that right now Don. I and many do not see T5D5 as the be all of Volvo tuning, far from it.

If you are going to be helpful as a trader, then please give members the FULL FACTS.

As to help the OP, RICA, MTE, BSR do off the self maps for the your car engine, do some research, phone up and visit dealers and try taking a ride in a mofified car.

WOW you really do have a ****ty on with t5D5.

As Don is a MTE trader why would/should he mention Rica/BSR, you dont see Adam or Chad mentioning MTE nor have I seen you getting ****ty with them.

Turkish seeing as you are all things knowledgeable on all 3 maps what in your opinion is the better map?

Nothing to do with the track day, more to do with certain people. Nothing wrong with T5D5 it is a good forum with some knowledgeable members and some not so, but it is not the be all of Volvo tuning which I am sure you will agree.

This is a Volvo forum, when someone posts on here, they should not have to visit other forums to gain advice, there is enough members on this particular forum to give good impartial advice.

Where did I mention that DON had to mention RICA/BSR. I am just pointing out to the OP that there are many options out there.

I am far from knowledgeable on BSR as I have not experienced them, I have only experienced RICA and MTE on Volvos and many more tuning companies on other cars over the past years.

Turkish where has it ever been stated that T5D5 is "the be all of Volvo tuning which" No one has ever mentioned this nor has Don ever mentioned this.

All Volvo forums have a purpose and each have there pros and cons, however if you was to reread Dons reply you will notice he simply pointed out where most of the MTE users resided.
