Was thinking about James suggestion of running on carbs and thought it would be quite interesting to see an N/A running on the venerable Amals (or sub your fave bike carb) - one per cylinder.

Fuel consumption could be horrendous, but actual fuelling should be superb.

Alternatively, it may be an idea to run triple twin choke Webers (40 DCOE?)

Whatever, as James intimated, once you get past the problem of having an inlet fabricated, it's much more straightforward that playing with electronic fuel injection.

Just a thought anyway.

Cheers,

T

I'm looking for a cam belt tensioner pulley that goes between the cam pulleys at the top

Seen it on a few high reving volvo's so wondering if its worth getting hold of one

Any ideas where I can get one?

Hello

Try Polestar.se for info on this part. They run Volvo's STCC C30s and use such a cambelt tensioner setup with the tensioner between the two cam pulleys.

Have a look on Volvo's YouTube channel as I saw a video there regarding the development of the Polestar C30 and it shows the engine being worked on on a bench and shows the tensioner you refer to.

Unfortunately, I dont have access to YouTube now but will try to upload the video title and a link to it over the weekend.
