I'm fairly sure that would not work with the manual version.

These are a little more expensive, but I have two in my V50.
http://www.dsldevelopments.com/brodi...it-Proclip.asp The mounts attach without damaging the car and you then attach holders onto the plates. I have an iPod and tomtom mounted this way, and I have run the cables under the panels to a 3 way "lighter" socket from Halfords hidden behind the console. All that shows is the main cable that plugs into the socket. Will post some pics when I can so you can see. Will be getting them again, when I get my XC60 |

Pics as promised. You can sort of see how the mounts attach (they do no damage) - then you screw the appropriate holder on to them.

Brodit mounts are certainly the best I have ever used.
