I lose one station frequently but I couldn't get it at all in my last car!

Thought about the Polestar upgrade but I'm trying to move on from my previous 'boy racer' cars. Tend to be more chilled in a car nowadays and £800 seems too much for what you get, 15bhp won't make much difference and I'll rarely rev it enough to reach max power, I'm finding the standard torque adequate (at the moment!).

Would be nice to see a before/after torque curve to see if the torque band is as wide after the upgrade.

Just checked the Polestar site and found some useful info.

According to Volvo, max torque is from 1500 - 3250rpm, wider than a typical diesel due to the twin turbos.

According to Polestar, max torque (after the upgrade) is from 1750 - 2250rpm which is very narrow and you would need to change gears more often to keep in such a narrow rev band.

Not worth £800 of my money.

Agree the results don't look much for the money.

The torque curve doesn't seem to match with their figures though. It's showing more torque right across the range.

I'll see what my dealer has to say.

Was offered this upgrade for our T6 by the dealer, way too much money for small gains and decreasing real world driveability. To the OP good choice on the colour!

Totally consistent between figures and curves. For any given revs, torque is more than the unmodified version. However the new maximum is over a shorter range (but even after it falls off a bit, its much higher than the unmodified car)

You're right, I've had another look.

I think they'd do better to avoid stating the max torque range as it could be a bit misleading.

Ideally I'd like to find someone who had the upgrade after buying the car.
