Just waiting
Looking at all these posts just waiting to take delivery of my 2nd ever Volvo.First was an Amazon back in 1970 but next week getting a S80 D5 and looking forward to saving a mint over my current trade in an old style MB S280.
Are these D5's as good as they sound 'cos luxury motoring at 40+mpg sounds great: |

oh yes!!!! They are much better!!!! A well manufactured car almost to military tank spec! The engine is awesome! Excellent mpg even when you drive hard. A very smotth ride, yet handles really well in country lanes!
I dont think that you will regret it... One of the guys on here (LEE) put his S80 up for sale... he took it off the market because he couldnt bring himself to sell it! He loves it too much! |

That's me on the map... or at least my summer location... 6 months in the South of France here I come!!! Watch out for a red V70 Classic (****EWE) in the Ardeche region of France; possibly with Kayaks/Canoes/Mountain Bikes in or on it!
