Default Pics of removable towbar and bike carrier

I have seen the questions asked many times; does it work? what does it look like?....
Attached are a few quick and dirty pics. No attempt to be artistic here.

It is a volvo dealer/factory fit removable tow bar and an atera strada DL3 bike carrier. The removable bar is easy to fit. The bike carrier easy to use and well thought out, but not as well made as product made by thule i have used in the past. There is slight wobble with the bikes loaded on - it is perfectly secure but can be abit disconcerting in your mirror. The bikes overhang the side of the car much less than the mirros stick out.

Car is an XC60 SE Lux my2011. Yes, i know it needs a good wash.

Hope they may help someone.
Rob

Looks different to the one I got a few years ago. That too started moving around on the towball, despite turning the fixing knob as hard as I could.

After reading the instructions, I found out there was an allen key that allowed the tension of the bind onto the towbar to be adjusted. When I looked, the allen screw was loose, and the towbar was effectively working looser all the time. Since I tightened it, it hasn't moved an inch.

There is no "movement" on the ball, just some flex in the rack itself.
Thanks anyway

OUCH - I paid £485 for the towbar and £110 fior a Thule 3 bike rack from roofracks.co.uk

Use the VoC discount to get the price down at the dealers, if I recall it is 15% on accessories
