Default help? a small(i hope leak)

evenin all, yesterday noticed while pulling the car away in the morning sound of something knocking coming from either under engine or behind drivers wheel area, noise/knock is like something catching on the wheel because its in rythym with wheels rotation, seems to go away when driving above thirty, got home today and had a look underneath for any obvious signs. nothing hanging , at least at first look anyways. did see lots of fluid on underside of engine at slightly rear of timing belt end of engine. car was sitting idling today for about half hour, same yesterday, and has only appeared since then.? brake fluid seems fine as does oil as does coolant? could the manifold have come loose and leak anything? seems(maybe paranioa) to suffer slight power loss too
any pointers much appreciated
