Any Views on these prices

Hi all.

As a new member and new volvo owner.I would be interest in your views regarding prices for work I just had done on my S60 2.5T Auto.

Prices in Euro as I live in Ireland.

(1) 2 x front shock absorbers @ 191.77 = 383.54
(2) 2 x front shock absorber mountings @ 37.34 = 74.68
(3) 2 x wishbone bushings @ 47.94 = 95.88
(4) 1 set lock nuts @ 47.00 = 47.00
(5) 1 oil cooler @ 214.25 = 214.85
(6) 2 x oil cooler seals @ 5.83 = 11.66
(7) 6 x rear suspension bushings @ 9.25 = 55.50
(8) 1 x oil filter @ 11.25 = 11.25
(9) 2 x 1Lt. coolant @ 4.00 = 8.00
!0) 10 hours labour @ 50.00 = 500.00

Total including V.A.T. 1591.00

Left car in 28 days ago to have a knocking in right rear and have an oil leak fixed. Car seems o.k. what do you think of the prices,should I go hear again or not.

Hi,

Price in GB pounds would be about £1065 on current exchange rate..

Were these Volvo Parts as the front shocks seem expensive (to me)..?
The rest seems not too bad and the labour rate is Ok.

Thank you Des for replying I don't know what make the suspentions are if it ever stops raining here I will have a look.
going to have 4 tyres fitted to morrow it never ends my better half says if you want to be flash you have to pay for it

I would find out what shocks were fitted as they come out at about £260 - that is a high price for front shocks IMO..

But, at least you have the old girl going again, main thing...
