update. Well got a 3.9 disco so ripped out the engine and lots of wires and stuffed into the front of the volvo. Had to modify the sump but not the pick up pipe. Its a snug fit.

Had to fab some sort of exhaust manifold but due to the way the front suspension takes a lot of space they are prety small and sleek. I dont know how well they will flow, but who cares it aint built for speed.

Stripped of all the padding on the dash, welded a few holes up and where the clocks sat there was a big hole at the back and you could see all the back of the speedo. I decided to make a cover for this to tidy it up.

Have also made a bracket for the alternator and coil. Throttle pedal was via the discovery as well. Also started to install a new loom for the rest of the car. Leather electric seats also came out of the disco and look like they may make it into motor as well. Anyway more later, bye for now Matt.

I really like the separate front bumpers. I wonder if you could get your hands on another bumper and use the outer sections to create a nice smooth curved inner end where you've so far got the bumper cut straight through?

Got a few bits done on the slamazon over the last couple of weeks. Had the rv8 flywheel modded to take a cossie v6 scorpio clutch. Also had to convert the old clutch pedal from a pusher(hybolic) to a puller(cable). Wanted to keep everything easy and foun a renault 5 clutch cable was the part for the job. Modded the pedal and it has a nice feel to it.

also got the rest of the exhaust system fabbed up. Its a bit tight over the rear axle but we got there in the end.

cant really see much can ya, but it is tight.
Also got the engine painted up and a few bits polished up

for the exhaust tips I wanted to do something I havent seen on an amazon before so I cut the fuel filler hole out of the spare car and fitted it to the back pannel. Means I will have to get another tank of some sort and open boot to fill up, but now I have 2 cool pipes exiting from the body
