I've got planned, full alacantara seats replacement, projector lights, full vortex exhaust with cat, ram air system, remapped, possible larger intercooler, then I will fit drill and grooved discs all round and pads.
That's to start lol |

Not bothered about top speed and blagging rights as this thread seems to be heading, however I am worried about the tyre speed rating.
Of the last few I have had, the earlier ones were fitted with W rated and the newer ones inc my D5 have y rated which are good for 186 mph. W are the minimum Volvo recommend. |

I am going to winter tires or all seasons soon now the weather is closing in these will also have a w minimum speed rating. Why anyone would put anything rated lower than the car can do is beyond me its unsafe |

I hope I'm never on the same road as you guys when I'm driving with my wife and children in the car. You're supposed to get over that sort of thing before you're 20 years old.

I doubt it would work over here due to the sheer volume of traffic on the roads, shame though as it does seem to improve people's awareness and care!

Funny how folklore can prevail over fact.
http://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_...ted_death_rate Germany, 4.3 deaths per 100,000 population France, 4.9 deaths per 100,000 UK, 3.5 deaths per 100,000 Germany, 4.9 per billion km France, 6.3 per billion km UK, 4.3 per billion km Do we really want UK road deaths to increase to German and other European rates? Not me, thanks, I'm very happy with UK legislation, speed limits and driving test, as well as driving standards as they are, among the best in the world. Let's be proud of that. |
