Anyone care to spread the word to the four corners of the 400 series earth? If you guys want this to happen, you need those five names and deposits!

cheers

James

Well, this all seems to be going nicely.

Just a few questions.

1-Do we need to provide the front spoiler for Dave to be able to make the mould, or will he have one that you and Matt are supplying?

2-How much deposit is required?

3-When do you want the deposit to be able to start making it, and how long will it take (not 'cos i'm being a pain, just so i know how long i have to get the rest of the money together).

Other than those point's i've just raised, i'm up for it. Even at the max. price Dave put down, it's still £100 cheaper than the original...

So thats 4 more people we need now....

Fingers crossed!

No, We'll use Matt's - he's happy with that. I think we're looking to go in January, if all goes well...

Dave can answer the rest :)

cheers

James

Hey James.

I'd just like to say thanks for doing alot of the groundwork for this-i appreciate it. Haven't heard from Matt for a while, so give my regards to him next time you speak to him. Going to post a seperate notice now and see if i can get 5 people to sign up...

Thanks again for the help...and point people this way if you know anybody!

Later,
Dan M

No problem at all...I wouldn't do it if I didn't want to help you guys out. And you found me the first pieces of my bodykit!

I've now managed to source a full 360 kit, and Dave is also planning a group-buy of 300 series front wings (at first...maybe full kit later).

cheers

James

Well we still haven't managed to move the donor car, but in theory we should have a 'group buy' of copied front spoilers going on at some point. We'll keep you updated.

The only bodykit available from Volvo was for the mk1, but it can be fitted to the facelift models with supposedly very little work.

cheers

BUMP! A quick update...

We're still trying to get hold of an original kit to copy. Can we have an update on who would like copies of the front bumper/splitter/valance? This will help with working out if it is worth doing financially - getting hold of the donor car is proving expensive. We're not looking to make money, but losing money isn't part of the plan either...

I'd expect the front bumper copies to run to £100-150 a pop, but I will confirm that later. They'll (almost certainly) be produced by DBS Motorsport (www.volvorsport.co.uk) - Dave is currently producing valances for the 300 series bodykit group buy, and has a long history of producing styling parts for 480s. I'll be able to confirm the quality of his work first hand in a month or so!

cheers

James
